The intro to DJ-ing pack is very useful for someone who is has experience mixing on controllers or older equipment, but has never played on CDJs or high-end mixers like the DJM-V10. In this 3h workshop, we will show you the basics you need to get started & learn about the first things you need to start your professional DJ journey.

Get ready
Everyone who steps into our studio will receive a short briefing on the hardware and software they need to get started, so we’ve put together a list of what we recommend.
USB Drive
For playing on the CDJ3000X you will need a USB drive formated in FAT or FAT32 on which you can later export all your music playlists from RekordBox.
Headphones
Of course everyone will need a pair of headphones. So make you get one that you will bring along with you every time your come to the studio.
We recomand the followings:
Download Music
We don’t encourage you to download or rip music from YouTube or SoundCloud. The quality is very low, and the artists are not getting anything for their work. So we recommend that you download your music from sources like Beatport, Muzjet, Bandcamp or Traxsource.
RekordBox
For preparing your selected tracks into playlists and getting them ready to export to your USB drive you will need a Laptop/PC/Mac and a software called RekordBox. This is free to download and install.
